Stifled

堵的慌。답답해. Feeling stifled. It's enough to cause your heart to become so clogged up that even three heavy-duty sighs won't clear the weird pain. Usually result of receiving some sort of injustice, be it a wrongful accusation or an insulting dismissal of achievement.

Humans feel insulted when we get what we don't deserve, or when we don't get what we do deserve. For some things, it is clear that there should be a fair payout for what we have done, both good and bad. For certain other things, though, who is to say that we deserve anything at all?

To deserve, to expect what should be ours; who is to say what belongs to whom? Do things belong to us anyways?
