Who
What
When
Where
Why
How does one know?
That gnawing conscience
What if it has already eroded?
What if it is not conscience
But fear of self
For self
By self?
Who defines what is due?
There is nothing but a sinew
Of sense and reason
Between the voices
Of silence and treason
That would be overdue
Like the payments on my
Credit card
If I can't conserve my own salvation
What diligence can I offer?
